Nestled in the heart of the Laurel Highlands in "America's County" lies Siberians of Ravenwood. With over 200 acres of beautifully wooded land we and our Siberian Huskies enjoy hiking and dog sledding through some of the most breathtaking country in Pennsylvania.

Siberians of Ravenwood has been in operation since 1999. Having moved to the country we decided to look for a new winter activity that our entire family could enjoy. Being animal lovers all of our lives it just seemed natural to try dog sledding. We were immediately hooked. It didn't take long for the "Potato Chip Syndrome" to take hold of us.

Having a natural love of dogs and a college background in Animal Science it was inevitable that our lives would take a turn in the direction of becoming breeders of Siberian Huskies.

We believe a working dog is a happy dog. Our Siberian Huskies are involved in sledding, conformation and the print and film industry. We had two Siberian Huskies that starred in the Walt Disney movie "Eight Below". Our "Chase" portrayed "Truman" and our "Dakota" portrayed "Shorty".

Our Siberian Huskies are bred from top foundations with adherence to the AKC standard. All the Sibes in our breeding program have been carefully selected and only those that are genetically sound in structure and temperament are used. Careful thought and planning goes into each breeding.
